2026 Montana Crime Prevention Conference

The 2026 Montana Crime Prevention Conference will take place on October 20 and 21, 2026 at Fairmont Hot Springs Resort.

All sessions will be eligible for POST, CPE, OPI, and CLE credits. Lunch will be provided both days.

*Note: There will not be Post-Conference Training this year.

Presenter Opportunities

Do you have an idea for a session you'd like to host for the 2026 Montana Crime Prevention Conference? We'd love to hear it!
  • We invite presentation proposals that address a wide range of topics.
  • Presentations must be two hours in duration.
  • Presenters must deliver the presentation in-person.
  • Proposals will be reviewed as they are submitted, so early submission is strongly encouraged.
  • Presentation submissions are due May 2, 2026.
  • Presenters will be notified by May 30, 2026.
  • One complimentary conference registration is included for each selected presentation.

Exhibitor Opportunities

MBCC will review and accept exhibitor booth applications as they come in, and all selected exhibitors will be notified in summer 2026.
  • Exhibitor tables are $275.00. Tables will measure 6’ long and will be topped. Electricity is included.
  • Maximum of two booth representatives per table. Complimentary registration for one booth representative is included with the purchase of a table.
  • Second booth representative fee is $150.
  • Provided meals are included.
  • Booth representatives are invited to our networking event.
  • Apply no later than  May 2, 2026.
  • Exhibitors will be notified by May 30, 2026.

Lifetime Achievement Award (LAA)

The Lifetime Achievement Award is presented to a deserving individual (or group of individuals) who has achieved professional excellence and made lasting contributions to improve Montana’s justice system throughout their career. This award encompasses professionals across the entire justice system and includes law enforcement, crime prevention, public safety, victim services, juvenile justice, forensic science, prosecution, public defenders, courts, corrections and volunteers. The award honors an individual’s proven leadership, vision, and innovation in their field.

Innovative Community Improvement Award (ICIA)

The Innovative Community Improvement Award is presented to a deserving individual (or group of individuals) who has, through a specific campaign or program, made lasting contributions to promote public safety and crime prevention within their community. This may include improving the quality of life, reducing the fear of crime, enhancing services to victims or initiating measurable, positive results. For the purposes of this award, a community is defined as a social unit of any size within Montana that shares common values, and may include towns or cities, a county, a specific region, an Indian reservation, etc. A community is not defined as the entire state. This award encompasses any professional or private community citizen or citizens, or a combination thereof. The award honors an individual’s proven leadership, vision, and innovation resulting in lasting contributions and significant improvements to their community.
