Mike Anderson
Mike Anderson spent 23 years as a firefighter in Havre, Montana. During his tenure with the Havre Fire Department, Mike also served as president of the Montana State Fireman’s Association. An active community member, Mike spent three years on the Havre school board and is actively involved in the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA).
His involvement with the MDA led Mike to create a wheelchair-accessible summer camp in Beaver Creek Park for children suffering from muscular dystrophy. He teamed with Bear Paw Development Corporation to obtain grants for ramps and sidewalks to complete the project. Anderson was appointed chair of MBCC by Brian Schweitzer in February of 2007 and is currently serving a six-year term as a county commissioner in Hill County.
Mike and his wife have two children and four grandchildren.
