Olivia was born and raised in Belle Fourche, South Dakota and attended Dawson Community College in Glendive, Montana and was a member of the school’s rodeo team. After completing her studies at DCC, she attended Western Montana College in Dillon. Olivia graduated from the University of South Dakota School of Law and practiced as a Deputy State’s Attorney in Pierre, South Dakota, a Deputy County Attorney in Miles City, Montana, a victim’s services attorney for a Domestic Violence organization in Glendive and the Regional Deputy Public Defender for Region 10 of the Office of State Public Defender in Glendive. Olivia was elected as the Dawson County Attorney in 2011 and has served in that role ever since.
She enjoys volunteering in her community and serves as a member of the Dawson County Fair Board, the Dawson Jackpot Association, a volunteer college rodeo coach and has taught as an Adjunct Professor in the Criminal Law field at Dawson Community College.
Olivia lives in Glendive with her husband, Blake and their children Blayne, and twin boys Teag and Bodie who are involved in many activities such as 4H, baseball, church, school and rodeo.
